69 (GK) božà ràbota božà ràbota ne mòm se bɤ̀rkame f nèja
It’s God’s work. It’s God’s work! We can’t get mixed up in it.
70 (c) nèma bè bòg bòg bòk me nèče jà mu se mòl'a
There’s no God. God! God! God doesn’t want me. I pray to him.
71 (c) bè slèzni bè èla me prìberi onì vìkat bòk štòm te nèče
"Hey, come down! Come take me home!" They say if God doesn’t want you,
72 (c) nèma òn kogà kàže òn kogà kàže
it won’t happen. [It’ll be] when he says. When he says.

When he says.
123 (c) bèk'i se vìdime na ònija svèt
Let’s just hope that we’ll see each other in the next world.

Certainly [you will].

37 (a) tìj v'èke d'èto ìdiš bògə zabrɑ̀w'ət
Now wherever you go they’ve forgotten God.
38 (a) də im tr'àbva n'ɛ̀što nə bògə
If they need something, God …
40 (a) tàm še ìdət amə
… [is] where they will [need to] turn, but …
42 (a) ne ìm tr'àba
… they [think] they don’t need [God any more].
44 (a) sìčko sa vəzgɛ̀na vèk'e segɑ̀.
They’ve all turned [the wrong way] now.
Mogilica 4
9 (a) pàk enəgà dàvət kulàci pekɔ̀t sìč’ku də vɛ̀rvət də dàvə al:àh hùbəvu
they give out breadstuffs and bake everything so they’ll believe, that Allah gives good,
10 (a) də sə žìvi də sə ràdvət də sə
that everyone may live and rejoice, and –
12 (a) i gu rəzdàvət kutrìnu sə nəbòžni kutrìnu vɛ̀rvət
and give it out. Those who are pious [that is], those who believe.
13 (a) kòjnu ne vɛ̀rvə
[As for] the one who doesn't believe –
15 (a) a [laughter]
well – [laughter]
26 (a) n’è jɛ̀ ti kàzvəm jɛ̀ səm tìj mə mène rùkət də pòskàzvəm
We – I tell you, I’m – [people] call on me to tell [them]
27 (a) es’è elè səm nəbòžnə mlògu jɛ̀ ne vɛ̀rvəm
how pious I am. I don’t believe [in that way of doing things].
28 (a) jɛ̀ è gi kàrəm i deč'ìš'tətə i vnùč'etətə də vɛ̀rvət
I – I make my children and grandchildren believe,
29 (a) də nə pràət lòš’u də də uvəž’ɛ̀vət hòrətə
not to do anything bad, to respect people,
30 (a) də nìš’tu də ne zgreš’ɛ̀vət
and not to commit sin in any way.
33 (a) də nèmə grɛ̀š'ki də vìdiš' gə ədìn čuvɛ̀k də mu pumògneš'
That there be no errors. That if you see someone [in need], you help him,
34 (a) nè də ìeš' pòsle də mu se prismìvəš' i
not [just] to go off and later make fun of him
35 (a) də mòž’e də mu pumògneš’ də gu səž’əlìš’
when you could have helped him, and felt pity for him
36 (a) tə tə i tèbe əl:àh də dəde hùbəvu
[If you do all this], then Allah will give you well-being.
