A lard slab, you know. You pour it into the pan and cover it like this

and it keeps for a long time.

[You wait for it] to cool down and settle

[Yes,] to settle until the tallow congeals.

But it stays longer in jars. Jars [last] a long time.

[What’s] in jars doesn’t go off.

201 (b) burkànete ne sɤ̀ rəzvàl’ət
[The contents of] jars don’t go off.

202 (a) burkàn’ə cɛ̀lə gudìnə gu dəržì
A jar will keep [its contents] an entire year.

[You keep it] in the cellar. In the cold [of the] cellar.

Yes, where it’s cold.
