What sorts?! Wooden, of course! We pound stakes into the ground and

30 (c) kuv'ème ut kòl du kòl pu dv'à dərv'ètə e pu dv'ɛ̀
hammer on, from stake to stake, two pieces of wood each, two each –

31 (c) pervàs se kàzvə i kuv'èm skilimìdite
they call it an a edge – and hammer on planks.

32 (c) ili pək ubràtnu əku nèməš skilimìdi ə zəbìjem kòl':etu
Or the reverse, if you don’t have planks. And we pound in the stakes

33 (c) i berèm ud gurɤ̀tə prɤ̀k':e i zəgrədìme pl'èt skilimìdi
and gather sticks from the forest and weave them in with the planks.

34 (c) pək segà òšte pòveč'e səs tèl' gi pràime
But now we make them even more [frequently] with wire.

35 (VZh) kòj kàkto mòže à
Each does it how he can, right?

36 (d) səs skilimìdi
With planks!
