8 (a) sə gudì sufrɔ̀ də gu izedɔ̀t bəjrɛ̀mə i rəməzànə gànu
prepare the table [for everyone] to eat the Bayram sacrifice. And when Ramazan comes,

9 (a) pàk enəgà dàvət kulàci pekɔ̀t sìč’ku də vɛ̀rvət də dàvə al:àh hùbəvu
they give out breadstuffs and bake everything so they’ll believe, that Allah gives good,

10 (a) də sə žìvi də sə ràdvət də sə
that everyone may live and rejoice, and –

16 (VZh) i to edìn mèsec e tovà ramazàna nalì
And Ramadan [lasts] a month, right?

17 (a) ədìn mɛ̀səc rəməzàn i i rəməzàn meždu mə
Ramadan [lasts] a month. And it's between –

18 (a) nàj prèš’ rəməzàn rəž’ìp š’əbàn rəməzàn
well, first there’s Ramazan; [it goes] “Razhip, Shaban, Ramazan” (Arabic names)

20 (a) enəgà sə guvɛ̀ klàn’ə se sìč’ku sə mòli zə zə d’yn’ɔ̀
At that time you fast and do ritual prayers; everyone prays for the world –
